Ok so I'm finally getting our Christmas Day on here. The day started with a very special phone call from my lil bro, Scotty! He's serving an LDS mission in Anaheim, CA. We were all gathered around this phone for 3 hours Christmas morning at my parents house. It was so good to hear his voice and know that he is doing so well!! We hadn't even opened presents yet.
Oh but as soon as we said our goodbyes, the ripping began. Noah had so much fun opening his presents! Santa brought everything he had asked for. "A helicopter, and a airplane, and a motorcycle!"
Sissy loved watching her brother. She just kept saying, "ooo, and aahh!"
She enjoyed her presents too! I think the kitty was her favorite. She's gotten pretty good at meowing :)
The floor was full of paper, boxes, and toys. We could barely even see the carpet!
We had a great afternoon!!
That night was spent at Grandma Linda's and Grandpa Craig's. Grandma was so excited to give Lydia her present. So we started present opening as soon as everyone was done eating.
She got her first pony! She was so sweet and cute playing with it. It plays music and she bounces up and down on it like she's riding a real horse.
Noah opened his present from his cousins, and he was so excited to see...
Colors!!! Aunt Tara made this cool crayon holder for him. He loved it! Mommy liked it too, cause now the colors have a place to go instead of the bottom of the diaper bag.
I was very impressed at how well Lydia did with opening presents. She is growing up way too fast! I still can't believe my baby is going to be 1 in a week.
After presents the Wii competition began. We all took turns, and boxing was definitley a favorite for Noah and his daddy!
Noah was the greatest boxer of the night!!
It was a great night with the family, but we were missing a few, and you know who you are. It sure was a little quieter without all of the cousins running around. At least Noah had Eli and Megan to play with. Next year everyone better be there though! It just wasn't the same without all of you. We hope that everyone had a great Christmas. It sure does make you appreciate your family, and all the blessings that we all have and share. We love you all!!
